Huge congratulations to Eric from Ms. Green’s 3rd grade class, our school spelling bee winner! Eric went on to represent our school at the Shelby County Spelling Bee yesterday and earned 2nd runner-up—what an incredible accomplishment!
We are so proud of his hard work, determination, and confidence. Way to go, Eric! 📚👏

Kindergarten but make it retirement ready 😂💯
Our kinders celebrated the 100th day of school dressed as 100-year-olds—complete with fun crafts, yummy snacks, and lots of laughs. What a special day!

Happy 100th Day of School! 💯🎉
To celebrate, we hid 100 pictures of Mrs. Harvie all around the school—one in every classroom! The kids loved searching for them and bringing each one to the front office to add to the hundreds chart. Watching the chart fill up and surprising Mrs. Harvie made this day extra special! 💜📸

So proud of Addison from Mrs. Howanitz's kindergarten class! She received a positive office referral for being the first to volunteer and a great helper! ❤️

Just a few of the amazing twins who help make MVES such a fun place to be! 💙💙
We loved celebrating National Twin Day today and snapping pics of some of our twin duos. Double the cuteness for sure!

Mrs. Gray & Mrs. Martin's class got a very cold ❄️ Special Delivery from the North Pole. They were so excited!

Mrs. Jeffcoat’s second graders earned a class reward for filling their compliment jar, and they celebrated with a campout in the classroom. Students collected “firewood,” built a campfire, set up their own tents, and enjoyed camping-themed reading and math activities. They finished the day with s’mores and stories by flashlight. It was an unforgettable day for this sweet group!

We are so proud of Amelia from Mrs. Ganster's kindergarten class! She received positive office referral for always going above and beyond, helping others and being an outstanding student! ❤️

Our hallway geese friends are definitely in the Christmas spirit! 🪿🎄

Look at the most adorable little
Grinch who visited some of our classrooms! One of our ACS nurses, Alexis, brought her precious daughter, Palmer, and she stole everyone's hearts! ❤️

Mrs. Fikes 1st grade class and their adorable Rudolph drawings!

Thank you for all of your help collecting mac n' cheese for our last food drive! MVES is now collecting bagged mashed potatoes and gravy packets to benefit Manna Ministries' Christmas holiday boxes! Help us out by bringing in any bagged mashed potatoes and gravy packets and dropping them in the collection bins in the lobby. We will be collecting the items through Thursday, December 18th.
Manna Ministries is a non-profit food bank just down the street from MVES. They serve over 600+ families from our local area each week. Please help us in providing meals with Manna Ministries this holiday season.

Mrs. Nabors' 1st grade class has been doing random acts of kindness to celebrate the Christmas season, like delivering candy canes to classrooms and some of our specials teachers!
