At the beginning of the year, our Reading Coach, Mrs. Wagner, shared the story "The Word Collector" with all of our Meadow View students! In the book, Jerome collects words and then climbs to the top of a hill to release them into the wind so others can enjoy them too. Inspired by Jerome, Mrs. Wagner challenged classes to become Word Collectors themselves. Each class is adding words to our Word Collector Wall to share with our whole school community. The cards are even color-coded by grade level because we’ve turned this into a fun monthly competition — we’ll see which grade level can collect the most words! Our Meadow View students are filling the school with the power of words, one card at a time!
