Katherine from Mrs. Harrison's kindergarten class received a positive office referral from our librarian, Mrs. Tomlin! She said that Katherine has an enthusiasm for learning and that she loves teaching her in the library!!🩷📚

Friends in Mrs. Brower’s Kindergarten Class are learning all about counting and the counting jar routine each morning.

✨ Today is National Custodian Appreciation Day, and we couldn’t be more thankful for our amazing team here at MVES! ✨

Mrs. Kristy, Mr. Keron, Mrs. Ashia, Mr. Andrew, and Mr. Charles work so hard each day to keep our school sparkling clean, safe, and welcoming. Because of them, we truly have the cleanest school around! 🧹🍎

Dr. Wheeler and Ms. Gardner's classes used delicious manipulatives to practice solving multiplication problems using the distributive property!

Ms. Sumrall's 1st Grade class is celebrating and learning about Johnny Appleseed for science this week! They combined science and writing and used their five senses to describe apples and had an apple tasting!

Apple tasting in the Naborhood! (Mrs. Nabors' Kindergarten class) Yellow was the class favorite. They said it was soft and not crunchy! 🍎  🍏

These sweet 2nd graders discovered they picked out books from the same series & immediately declared themselves “Book Twins!!” 💖💖📚✨ We love seeing students’ excitement for reading and the joy of sharing stories with friends! 🤗

🎉❤️🖤 What. A. Day! ❤️🖤🎉 Our Meadow View Fun Run was a HUGE success! Thanks to the incredible support of our students, families, and community, we didn’t just meet our goal of $30,000—we BLEW past it and raised over $38,000 for playground upgrades! 🙌🥳 Today was full of Warrior spirit, smiles, and so much fun. Thank you to everyone who helped make this fundraiser unforgettable. MVES really does have the BEST community! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️💨

Pre-K had Officer Payne from Alabaster Police Dept. visit for Community Helpers week. Students were able to tour the car, and Mrs. Galloway's class had him read "Officer Buckle and Gloria" after!
