Sweet ESL Coffee Trolley friends with 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Cushing! ☕️☕️

After learning about why leaves change color and fall during autumn, Ms. Canaday’s 3rd grade class made colorful leaf imprints using leaves collected from outside! 🍁🍂

So proud of Wilson from Mrs. Ellis' 1st grade class for receiving a positive office referral! 👏🏻

Thank you to all the families who joined us for our Parent Information Event this morning!
We spent time talking through ways to support reading, math, and language at home, and our instructional team shared helpful tips and resources. It was a relaxed morning with good conversations (and donuts), and we loved seeing so many parents invested in their child’s learning.
We’re grateful for our Meadow View families and appreciate everyone who took the time to come.

Lexia Superstars in Mrs. Paracca's 1st grade class! ⭐️

Hadley from Mrs. Brasfield's kindergarten class received a positive office referral! She has been super helpful to a friend who broke their foot and had to use a wheelchair. She has such a kind heart and is so selfless! 🩷

Today we celebrate World Kindness Day! The day serves as a reminder to prioritize compassion in our lives. It encourages individuals and communities to go beyond their routines and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Ethan from Mrs. Phillips' 1st grade class earned a positive office referral! He is always helping out in their classroom! 👏🏻

Ms. Canaday’s 3rd grade class celebrated Election Day by registering to vote, casting ballots for their favorite Oreo flavor, and campaigning for class president! 🗳️🍪

Fun with pumpkins in Mrs. Lawrence's 3rd grade class!

Pumpkin seed counting collections in Mrs. Durrett's and Mrs. Jones' 2nd grade classes!

Mrs. Jeffcoat’s second graders had a great time in the STEAM lab with Mrs. Simmons. They got to explore with our VR goggles, and the excitement was off the charts. It’s always fun watching our students learn in new ways and take their curiosity to the next level. 🤩📚🌍

Reader Leaders! 📚

The students loved having Mrs. Harvie pop into classrooms for a special Halloween read-aloud of Room on the Broom! She dressed the part and even brought a broom filled with the story’s characters riding along.
Our students were all smiles as they enjoyed the story and a fun visit from their principal. What a magical way to spend Halloween at school! 🎃📚🧹

Ms. Galloway’s Stars Pre-K class had an incredible week learning all about pumpkins. After exploring the parts of a pumpkin, the class worked together to carve their very own jack-o-lantern.
They didn’t stop there — they turned their pumpkin into a volcano and watched it bubble and fizz while learning about chemical reactions.
Lots of laughter, learning, and fall fun filled the classroom! 🍁✨

We had a beautiful Veterans Day performance by our amazing Meadow View singers! Mr. Jones leads them so well and it was a great way to honor our veterans! 🇺🇸

Ms. Richardson’s first graders practiced their “trick-or-treat” manners, and they had a blast doing it. They learned how to knock on the door, say “trick or treat,” use kind words, and give a big “thank you” before heading on their way.
Getting Halloween-ready and practicing our manners? That’s a win-win for these sweet students! 🎃🍬

Ms. Simmons’ 1st graders took their math skills to the next level! They wrote their own word problems, modeled their math, and shared their thinking with one another. Proud of these growing mathematicians!
