Measuring in Mrs. Nabors 1st grade class with cubes. They had races with cars and slow walkers . They predicted which would go the farthest then measured how far they went with cubes. They got to practice counting by tens! 🏎️🔢

🌟 A Special Visitor for Our Kindergarteners! 🌟
Miss Annie stopped by our kindergarten classes today for a buzzing-good lesson all about Bugs, Bugs, Bugs! 🐞🐛🐜 From creepy and crawly to icky and sticky, our little learners explored the fascinating world of insects—discovering fun facts about the tiny creatures that jump, fly, and crawl all around us!
Our students were “buzzing” with excitement as they shared what they learned about these amazing six-legged friends. 🐝💡 Learning is always more fun when it comes to life!











Alabama Cinderella Teen, Miss Emma Grace Morgan, was the surprise guest reader in Mrs. Nabors' 1st grade class She read the classic "The Grouchy Lady Bug." Emma Grace is a former student of Mrs. Nabors and it was great to have her return to the Naborhood to read!

Ms. Canaday's 3rd grade class all dressed up for ACAP Spring Training! 🧢





Mrs. Jones' 2nd grade class went outside to measure real world things. They practiced using a ruler to measure objects using inches and centimeters 📏☀️




Ms. Shirley’s 3rd grade class worked hard on text dependent writing to prepare for ACAP! They worked as a team to use writing rubrics to give each other feedback on their text dependent writing responses. They are ACAP ready!

The Naborhood is loving our special guest this week. They are writing stories about her and reading to her. They also got to use pebble go to and research rabbits. BunBun also escaped from her cage last night and they are going to write about what she did at Meadow View during the night.
