Mrs. Nabors Kindergarten class had a blast during their “Number Stomp with the Count” activity! 🎶🔢
At the end of each song, the thunder would roll in like a main character moment, and the students were absolutely amazed by it! ⚡🌩️ They were so excited, they asked to play it again to see if the thunder would happen a second time… and it did! They loved every minute of it!
What a fun and memorable way to practice sight words and build learning through movement, music, and engagement! 📚💛

So proud of Quinn and Wilson from Mrs. Nabors' kindergarten class for receiving Positive Office Referrals!
Quinn has been helping out a friend in need and Wilson reached level R on Math Fact Lab and level 9 on Lexia!

Mrs. Nabors Kindergarten class had a “Shapes, Shapes, and More Shapes” adventure in the Naborhood! 🔺🔵🟩
Students had the best time learning all about 2D and 3D shapes. They sorted real food items by 3D shape attributes and even got to sample some of the tasty examples! 🍎🍪🍕
The class also practiced sorting 2D and 3D shapes by their attributes, showing off their growing math skills. To finish the lesson, they got creative by building and designing objects using different shapes, such a fun, hands-on way to learn! ✂️📐✨
We were also so lucky to have Mrs. Colburn, our math coach, join us for all the shape-filled fun! 💛

Mrs. Price’s ESL classes would like to proudly announce the birth of our 9 brand new baby chickens! After 21 days of great anticipation, they hatched and came to join us in our classroom on April 29th. We will be caring for them over the next two weeks before they return to the farm to join their parents. We spent the weeks leading up to their hatch day reading all about the life cycle of a chicken, and, this week, we have enjoyed using our baby chicks as the subject for our class speaking and writing activities as we explore using adjectives to describe them. Please welcome:
Sunny, Blacky, Hazel, Penelope, Nugget, Chicken Banana, Lollipop, Lemon, and Zoey.

To wrap up the lesson, they enjoyed a yummy pizza snack of course! 🍕😊 Learning has never been so delicious!
