⭐️‼️Free breakfast is on the menu this school year!⭐️‼️ All Alabaster City Schools students can enjoy a free breakfast before the school day begins thanks to grant funding awarded to our district. Breakfast is available each school day beginning at 7:00 am. Please remember that while breakfast is free for all students, lunch is not free for all students. Families should still complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application to determine eligibility for free or reduced lunch. ARI Beyond Grade 3 Peer Coaching training is in the books for some of our reading teachers! TIS joined other peer coaches from districts across South Alabama gathered at the University of South Alabama to strengthen their practice and deepen their impact on student learning. Together, participants took a deep dive into Actionable Assessment—using evidence to inform instruction in meaningful, responsive ways—and The Fluency Factor, exploring true fluency and evidence-based practices to impact student learning. The conversations were rich. The learning was intentional. The commitment to Alabama’s students was unmistakable.

Our reading and writing teachers learned so much at our Summer Spark training today. They can't wait to take everything they learned into their classrooms! ⚡️✏️

Week 2 of Summer Math & Literacy Camp is in the books! ☀️📚➕ This week, our students worked hard on exciting STEM projects, tackled math challenges, and strengthened their reading skills. They also had a blast showing off their tropical paradise attire! 🌴🌺😎 We’re so proud of all their hard work and enthusiasm this summer! 🎉

5th grade had a great end-of-year celebration today! Thank you to our amazing PTO and volunteers for making this day happen. Comment your child's favorite memory from 5th grade as we send these great students off to 6th grade🤗🤗
