From Mrs. Ellis’ 1st grade class: Our sweet classmate Madeleine helped her mom to make a traditional Mexican drink called Horchata water for her to share with her class. The class got to listen to Madeleine share her families tradition of making this drink. Everyone LOVED it and begged for more. We are so thankful to our friend Madeleine and her family for sharing and teaching us more about their culture and traditions.

Monday, we officially kick off our Meadow View Fun Run fundraiser! Our goal is to raise $30,000 for a class set of VR glasses for our STEAM Lab! We need our entire school to work together to help us reach our goal. Here’s how you can help:

Mrs. Austin’s 3rd grade class kicked off their fractions topic with a fun and interactive lesson! Students created their own fractions using sentence strips and played “Fraction Cover-Up,” which sparked great discussions, observations, and curiosity about the topic ☺️
