Mrs. Nabors’ 1st grade class took their math to a new level today. Math is always better when you can taste it! 😋They used pretzels (10) and m&ms (1) to help them with 1 more/1 less and 10 more/10 less. The kiddos loved it. Math never tasted so good!✖️➗➕➖

Ms. Green’s 3rd grade class participated in World Read Aloud Day today. They listened to David Shannon read his book “No David!” Then he led them in a directed drawing of the character David.📚







Tuesday is the day for number line math in Mrs. Nabors’ 1st grade class. Students have been using number cards and place value blocks. Today, after being inspired by 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Goggins, they were given and number and had to write until they ran out of paper. Then, the class started plus 10 and minus 10 today so they went outside to act it out on our giant 100s chart. They loved it! Mrs. Nabors is always sure to make learning fun!
