Carlos Edmonds of LifeSouth stopped by THS to present a donation to Mrs. Ezekiel’s HOSA students for hosting our incredibly successful blood drive.

Due to the multitude of activities this past Friday, today, Thompson High School Administration treated the cafeteria staff to Ice Cream Sundaes in recognition of School Lunch Hero Day.


The Health Sciences Academy held a pinning ceremony for students in the Pharmacy Technician Program, Patient Care Technician Program, Job Shadowing with Blair Pharmacy, and the Internship program with Affinity Hospice and Shelby Baptist Medical Center.

Congratulations to THS students Carlie Mills, Ava Nguyen, and Makiley Porter who were named a finalist out of 180 teams in the Project Management Community Giving Project at the international DECA career development conference in California.


The THS ASL 2 and 3 classes attended the 2nd Annual ASL Expo at the University of Montevallo. Students had the opportunity to meet a Deaf adult panel and then broke off into groups to work on sign language games. It was a fantastic event where our students were able to immerse themselves in Deaf culture and language.
