The Homecoming Week festivities continue! Students went all out for Back to Y2K day!

Congratulations to our 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Beverly Boy. Mrs. Boy is a team player and a hard worker whose loyalty to our administration and school community sets a strong example for both colleagues and students. Because of her commitment, our dual enrollment English program has flourished.

Alabama College Application Week is next week, October 6-10, and the prep is ✔️. THS teachers and staff are alums of more than 75 colleges/universities in 4 different countries! College application fees to many regional schools are waived next week, so check your email for details and get working on those applications!

HOMECOMING DRESS UP DAYS ANNOUNCED!!!!! Students get ready to show your school spirit during Homecoming next week at Thompson High School!

Time is running out for students to get tickets to this year's Homecoming Dance! Tickets are $35 for individuals and $70 for a date. The dance will be on Saturday, October 11 from 8 P.M. until 11 P.M. at Warrior Arena. Ticket prices increase on October 2nd!

Students at Thompson High School received a visit from the University of Montevallo's College of Health Professions. Faculty with Exercise & Nutrition Science, Nursing, Social Work & Speech Pathology spoke to Health Science students in the Innovation Center. Thank you for giving our students an inside look at your fields!
