Half of our second graders performed tonight in front of a packed house. At the direction of Mr. Jones, students from Mrs. Toy, Mrs. Thrasher, Mrs. Wade, Mrs. Durrett, Mrs. Connell, Ms. Leonard, and Mrs. Ochsenfeld performed songs about America for their families!
The remaining classes (Kakoliris, Goggins, Bull, Weaver, Jones, and Rush) will perform next Tuesday, 3/12 at 6:30.

We are so excited to celebrate Kindness Week NEXT week, February 26 - March 1!
The Kindness Crew will be heading up a canned food drive, benefitting Manna Ministries. If you’re able, please send in non-perishable food items NEXT week. Kiddos can drop them off in the foyer. There will be collection bins set up.
We are also building a Kindness Tree in the cafeteria!
🚌 Bus Driver Appreciation Day 🚌 Today we celebrate some school heroes that deserve much of our appreciation. Our amazing school bus drivers are often the first and last smiling face that our students see! They brave the weather and elements to make sure our scholars get to and from school safely! Today, and every day, we want our bus drivers to know how thankful we are for them! Breakfast and treats are just a small token of our gratitude!

We will celebrate Kindness Week the last week of this month, February 26 - March 1.
The MVES Kindness Crew is sponsoring two activities to spread joy and positivity around our school and community.
Friday, February 16th will be an e-day. You child's teacher will send more information home with your student.
There is no school Monday, February 19th.
MVES Spring Book Fair will be Tuesday February 20 to February 26. See information from your child's teacher about specific shopping times! The Book Fair will be open during Full Steam Ahead Family Reading and Math night.
