Dear TIS Parents and Guardians, Due to the potential for severe weather and the closing of Alabaster City Schools today, we have updated our ACAP testing schedule for this week. We will now test on Wednesday, April 2nd; Thursday, April 3rd; and Friday, April 4th. Please Remember: Encourage your child to do well by reminding them of their preparation throughout the school year. Focus your encouragement on their hard work, effort, and determination to do their best. Please refrain from checking out your child during the testing window, which will be from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM each day, unless it is a medical emergency. Be sure your child gets plenty of rest each night before the test. Be sure your child has a nutritious breakfast at home or school before the test. Please talk with your child about behaviors during testing. Disruptions will not be tolerated. Inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the testing environment and score invalidation. We can't wait to see everyone back at school on Tuesday, rested and ready to show what they know. Thank you, TIS Administration
