More about Homecoming 2025:
Alabaster City Schools will host its Homecoming Celebration on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. All Alabaster City Schools will participate!
The celebration will begin with the annual Homecoming Parade, which will begin at 6:00 p.m. The parade will travel around the Thompson High School campus, beginning near the back parking lot and ending at Warrior Parkway. The floats will travel down the center of the road, so please use both sides of the road for viewing.
The night will continue with a Community Pep Rally at the stadium starting around 7 p.m. and ending with a special finale.
The theme of the parade is “A Generation of Champions,” honoring the senior class —the first class to attend ACS from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
The Grand Marshals are representatives of the senior class who have attended ACS since kindergarten.
Prizes will be awarded for Best Overall, Best Class Float for THS, Most Creative, Best Use of Theme, and Most Spirit.
The back entrance of THS off Kent Diary Rd will close at 4:00 pm. The front entrance off Thompson Rd will close at 6:00 pm. Parking will be available on the THS campus.
