📚 Happy National Book Month from Meadow View Elementary! 📚
October is all about celebrating the joy of reading! Our students are diving into books, sharing their favorites, and discovering new stories in the library. National Book Month encourages a love for literature, and we’re thrilled to see our young readers so engaged!
💫Parents, join the celebration by exploring new books with your child at home or at your local library. Let’s inspire a lifelong love of reading together!

🚌This week is National School Bus Safety Week!🚌
At MVES, we have the best bus drivers and we are so thankful for all that they do to keep our students safe each and every day! Our students love them!
Here are some bus safety tips:
1. School safety starts at the bus stop. 🚌 🛑 Share these tips with your children:
⌚ Arrive at the bus stop five minutes early.
🚏 Stand five giant steps away from the curb.
🚌 Wait until the bus stops, the door opens, and the driver says it’s okay before stepping onto the bus.
👁️ Be sure the bus driver can always see you, and you can see the bus driver.
2. 🟡 Yellow lights 🟡 on a school bus indicate the bus is preparing to stop. 🛑 If you’re driving, slow down, stay alert, and watch out for children. 🧒 🧒
3. See the school bus stop-arm? Time to STOP. 🛑 Racing past the arm puts young lives in jeopardy
