Welcome back! Over the next two weeks, we’re celebrating Kindergarten Color Days and we encourage ALL students to join the fun! Each day will feature color-themed books, art, and snacks. Please send your child to school wearing the color of the day so we can fill our halls with color!

Hi! My name is Lacey Russell, and I am excited to be the new interventionist. I am joining you from Elvin Hill, where I had the privilege of working for the past 11 years. During that time, I developed a true passion for helping students grow and succeed. Outside of school, I am the proud mom of three amazing children. I am very active in my church, serve on the board of a nonprofit organization, and enjoy giving back to my community whenever I can. Helping others has always been a passion of mine, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue doing that in this new role. I can’t wait to get to know everyone and see what this school year has in store. I am so thankful and excited for this opportunity, and I look forward to working with all of you!

I’ve been in education for the last 10 years and certified in PE because I love staying active and working with students of all ages. I’m an Auburn undergrad alum, completed my master's at Montevallo, and am a proud mom to three daughters. When I’m not in PE, you can usually find me reading, catching a live concert, heading to the beach, or spending time with family and friends. I am married to my husband Timothy of 14 years and we have a 3 year old son. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, hanging out by the pool, and going to the mountains.
