Congrats to Hallie and Aleen from Mrs. Toy's second grade class for receiving a Positive Office Referral! They work hard to go above and beyond as community helpers to keep the playground clean!

Our final Meadow View Singers performance of the year was absolutely amazing! 🎶✨ Mr. Jones once again led a wonderful program, showcasing the hard work and talent of our students. We are going to miss our 3rd graders so much next year—they have truly made our music program special! 💛 This performance was extra meaningful as we welcomed back former Meadow View Singers member Wyatt Yerby. Now a high school senior graduating in just a few weeks, Wyatt returned to the place where it all began to help perform, and it was such a special full-circle moment to have him back on stage with us. 🎤🎓 What a beautiful way to end the year!

🚓📚 Mrs. Nabors’ kindergarten class had a special visitor! After reading about obeying rules in Open Court, Officer Hand came to read Officer Buckle and Gloria and talk with students about safety rules at school and in the community. Our students loved learning from him and were excited to give him breakfast as a thank you for visiting our class! 💙👮‍♂️🍩

Happy National School Principals Day to the heart of Meadow View, Mrs. Harvie! ❤️ We are so incredibly blessed to have a leader who truly loves every single student that walks through our doors. Mrs. Harvie goes above and beyond to make sure each child feels seen, included, and welcomed, creating a school environment where everyone belongs. Her creativity and vision bring such meaningful ideas to life, and the way she thoughtfully implements them makes a lasting impact on our entire school community. She is intentional with her time, wise in her decisions, and always puts students and staff first. She supports, encourages, and uplifts our faculty, making Meadow View not just a school, but a family. Today we celebrate YOU and all the ways you make Meadow View such a special place! 💫

Reading in Motion! 📚🚲

We are so excited to announce that our wonderful Interventionist, Heather Reeves, has been awarded a grant from Alabama Power to bring under-desk bicycles to our library!

Heather recognized that sitting still for long periods can be a challenge for young readers. Thanks to the Alabama Power "Power of Good" grant, our students will now be able to pedal their way through their favorite books. These bikes provide a productive outlet for energy, helping students improve focus, comprehension, and cognitive function while they read.

We are committed to supporting the "whole child"—academically, physically, and emotionally. Huge thanks to Alabama Power for helping us turn silent reading into an active, motivating experience!
