Lexia Superstars from Mrs. Paracca's 1st grade class! ✨

Mrs. Durrett’s 2nd grade class is making learning fun! They collected and organized data by counting the number of Skittles of each color and then represented this data by creating a line plot to display their results!

The class in each grade with the most new pledges tonight will earn an EXTRA RECESS.

Unfortunately due to the threat of severe weather, we are going to postpone the second grade musical performance scheduled for this evening. Plans for rescheduling will be shared soon.
Any student who gets a donation tonight can bring a FUZZY FRIEND to school tomorrow.
Who will you bring??

🚌 Multiple train track crossings throughout Alabaster continue to be blocked.
This will have an absolute impact on afternoon bus routes and student dropoffs.
Please be patient and stay in tune with City of Alabaster, Alabama and Alabaster Police Department social/web posts!

From Mrs. Ellis’ 1st grade class: Our sweet classmate Madeleine helped her mom to make a traditional Mexican drink called Horchata water for her to share with her class. The class got to listen to Madeleine share her families tradition of making this drink. Everyone LOVED it and begged for more. We are so thankful to our friend Madeleine and her family for sharing and teaching us more about their culture and traditions.
