Ms. Green and Mrs. Lawrence were the hit of 3rd grade on Halloween with their "six sevennnnn" jerseys 😂

🎪📚 That’s a wrap on the Greatest Book Fair of ALL! 🎉
Thanks to our amazing Meadow View community, we raised over $6,800 for our Library! ❤️
A huge THANK YOU to our parents, volunteers, teachers, and students for making this event such a success. Your support helps us fill our shelves with new books and keep the love of reading alive at MVES! 📖✨

We’d love to see our Meadow View families at our Parent Information Event coming up on Thursday, November 13.

Mrs. Jones’ 2nd grade class had a special guest reader — Jackson from 3rd grade, who earned this honor through his hard work and points! He was a student in her class last year, and everyone was so proud to welcome him back and cheer him on. Great job, Jackson! 📚👏

We had the sweetest time celebrating our 1st grade teacher, Anna Kate Mazingo — soon-to-be Mrs. Baker! 💍✨We are so excited for her and can’t wait to cheer her on as she enters this new season!
Congratulations, Anna Kate! 🤍

Ms. Lavender’s and Ms. Canaday’s 3rd grade classes wrapped up their Force and Motion unit with a hands-on flight test. Students researched, built, and launched their own paper airplanes, then measured each flight in yards and recorded their results in data charts. A fun way to bring science and math to life! ✈️📊

The Naborhood had the sweetest day ever! 🍎 Mrs. Nabors’ kindergarten class put their own twist on apple pie—by making it in a cup! From crushing up graham crackers to adding the whipped cream (cue the excited screams!), it was declared “the best day ever!” ❤️🥧

Mrs. Nabors’ kindergarten class kicked off their first science experiment of the year — making it “rain” from a cloud! Our young scientists had so much fun watching how rain falls from the clouds in the sky. 🌧️☁️🔬

The ESL Department's Coffee Trolley is always a hit! Especially when pre-k teacher, Mrs. Gray, makes her delightful pumpkin bread! 🎃☕️

📚💡 Our 2nd and 3rd graders have been busy exploring the nonfiction section in the library! From animals to outer space and everything in between, they loved discovering that reading for facts can be just as exciting as reading for fun. 🦋🌎🚀
We love seeing their curiosity come alive! 💛

Our amazing Pre-K teachers are spending a few days at the Alabama Early Childhood Education Conference at the BJCC! 🍎✨ They will came back full of new ideas, fresh inspiration, and even more love for helping our youngest learners grow and thrive. We’re so thankful for their dedication and passion for our little ones! ❤️👏

Lexia Superstars in Mrs. Paracca's 1st grade class!

Mrs. Howanitz's kindergarten class celebrated Johnny Appleseed day by making a homemade apple pie! 🥧

Mrs. Lawrence’s 3rd grade class had a special visitor today—Mr. Lawrence! He brought a drone to share with the students and taught them how different types of drones are designed to solve real-world problems. 🚁 Such a fun and exciting hands-on learning experience!

Good morning from Meadow View 🌅 A beautiful sunrise to start a brand new day of learning!

Our Pre-K students had the best day! They started at the ACS Central Office, where staff were all dressed up and ready for some trick-or-treat fun, then headed to Penton Farms for a pumpkin patch adventure! It might have been a rainy day, but that didn’t stop them from having a blast! 🎃🍬🌧️

📚 Mrs. Holmes’ kindergarten class had a special guest reader—our very own principal, Mrs. Harvie! She shared the book “Hands Are Not for Hitting” and talked with students about making kind choices, using gentle hands, and being a good friend at school. 💛 We love when Mrs. Harvie visits our classrooms!

🌟 We’re so excited to kick off our Excited for English after-school program! 🌟
This enrichment class gives students extra support in reading, writing, listening, and speaking — all while having fun and building confidence. Our teachers design engaging activities that help students strengthen their language skills and continue growing as successful learners.
We can’t wait to see how much our students accomplish this year! 💬📚✨

Lilly from Mrs. Nabors' kindergarten class got their first "boo!" She got to pick out a friend for the day and had a light up ghost at her seat!

Mathletes!
