Students in Ms. Gant's class had a special visitor this week! Reagan the facility dog came to help relieve test anxiety.




6th graders have been learning about how the Great Depression affected Americans. Mrs. Love's class built shanty towns in each class to create one large Hooverville.



Honors Civics students wrote break up letters with King George this week to start their study on the Declaration of Independence!

Students from Mrs Dunning's 7th grade science enjoyed looking through microscopes to differentiate between plant and animal cells.






Congratulations to our dance and cheer teams! Dance won 1st in Kick and Game Day at DTU on Sunday. Dance won 1st in Kick at UDA on Saturday. Dance and Cheer won 2nd in Spirit Program at UDA!


ACS will be operating on normal hours for tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 26th.

8th grade Honors Science students in Mrs. Gremillion's classes are measuring the distance a beetle travels over a 45 second time period and then using that data to calculate their beetle's speed. What a fun day in science!
