ALABASTER, AL — The jewelry has officially arrived at Thompson Middle School! In a special celebration surrounded by teammates, coaches, family, and administration, the TMS Dance Team was officially presented with their National Championship rings, commemorating their historic victory at the National Dance Team Championship (NDTC) in Orlando, Florida.
Back in February, the TMS Warriorettes took the floor at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and delivered a beautiful and high-energy performance that captured the judges' attention and earned them the Junior High Kick National Championship title.
Winning an NDTC title is no small feat. The Junior High Kick division is famously competitive, requiring synchronized, high-flying flexibility, impeccable timing, and immense stamina.
The road to the ring required months of grueling practices, early mornings, and strict dedication. All of that hard work culminated in that unforgettable moment in Orlando when Thompson Middle School was announced as first in the nation.
