TMS ESL students visited the Birmingham Zoo in May. 8th grade ESL teacher Mrs. Ly said, "This trip is more than just a fun day out, it’s an outdoor classroom where students got to practice their English in the real world. From identifying animal adaptations to exploring global habitats, our students became field researchers using their new vocabulary to observe and describe the wonders of the natural world."
