Thompson Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) made an impressive impact this year by raising $1,500 for Breakthrough T1D, an organization dedicated to funding research and support for those living with Type 1 diabetes.
The funds were collected through the sale of support certificates, which students sold before school for $1 each. This year’s campaign shattered previous records, exceeding last year’s total by nearly 450 certificates!
In addition to in-person sales, the NJHS also raised nearly $1,000 through online donations, showing the strong community spirit and dedication of both students and families.
The Thompson Middle School community congratulates the NJHS members and their faculty sponosrs, Mr. Wilbanks and Mrs. Sawyer, for their incredible achievement and continued commitment to service and leadership.
