Students are applying their math skills using actual menus from local neighborhood restaurants. By calculating order totals, figuring out change, and budgeting for a meal, students build strong foundational math skills through practical, real-world application.
Hands-On Science Exploration: Science comes alive when students can see and touch the concepts they study. To explore the properties of matter, students created "goop" to experience how states of matter can transform. They are also conducting conservation experiments to investigate physical changes and learn that matter is conserved, even when it changes form.
