Thompson Intermediate School had a great day meeting all of our new 4th and 5th graders! This event gave 4th- and 5th-grade students and their families the opportunity to visit the school, meet their teachers, and get ready for a fantastic school year.
During Warrior Day, students and families dropped off school supplies and visited their classrooms. Meeting teachers and seeing their new classrooms helped students feel more comfortable and excited about the first day of school.
Families also had the chance to learn more about the many extracurricular activities available to students throughout the year. From clubs and organizations to sports and other activities, there are plenty of ways for Warriors to get involved, discover new interests, make friends, and be part of the school community.
Warrior Day was a wonderful opportunity for students, families, teachers, and staff to come together before the school year officially began. The smiles, conversations, and excitement throughout the school were a great reminder that a new year means new opportunities to learn, grow, and make memories.
We are so excited to welcome our 4th- and 5th-grade Warriors back to school! Let's have a great year of learning, friendship, and Thompson pride!
