AP Appreciation Week

This week, Thompson Intermediate School is buzzing with a little extra gratitude as we celebrate Assistant Principals Appreciation Week. While we try to show our thanks year-round, this is the perfect moment to shine a spotlight on the two incredible leaders who keep our hallways bright and our spirits high.

To Mrs. Traywick and Mrs. Carlee: thank you for the heart, soul, and hard work you pour into our school every single day.

Mrs. Traywick: Our Spirit Leader & Joy-Maker

If you hear laughter echoing down the hall or see someone rocking the most enthusiastic school colors, chances are Mrs. Traywick is nearby! Our students know they can always count on her for a good laugh and a boost of energy. Whether she’s leading an assembly or checking in on a classroom, her dedication to our school spirit makes TIS a place where kids truly want to be.

"Mrs. Traywick makes school fun. She’s always smiling and makes us feel like we’re part of a big team!" - TIS Student

Mrs. Carlee: Our Encourager-in-Chief

Mrs. Carlee has a special gift for seeing the best in everyone. She brings a unique sense of joy into the building every morning that is truly infectious. As a constant source of encouragement, she helps our students (and staff!) believe in themselves, even on the tough days. Her kindness is the glue that helps our school community thrive.

"Mrs. Carlee is so nice. Whenever I'm having a hard day, she says something to make me feel better and keep going." — TIS Student

Being an Assistant Principal is a massive job that involves everything from logistics and safety to high-fives and heart-to-hearts. We are incredibly lucky to have a duo that balances professional excellence with genuine love for our students.

TIS Community, join us in saying "Thank You!" If you see Mrs. Traywick or Mrs. Carlee in the car line, the hallways, or at a game, be sure to give them a wave or a quick note of appreciation.

We love you, Mrs. Traywick and Mrs. Carlee! Thanks for all you do!
