What an incredible evening! Our hallways were buzzing with energy, curiosity, and the smell of fresh popcorn last Thursday as we hosted our annual TIS STEM Night.
We are thrilled to announce that we had a record-breaking turnout, with 745 students, parents, and community members joining us for a night of exploration. From robotics and coding to hands-on engineering challenges, it was a joy to see our students leading the way and showing off their skills!
A Heartfelt Thank You
An event of this scale doesn't just happen by magic! it takes months of coordination and a very dedicated team. We would like to extend a special "Thank You" to the architects of this evening to Mr. Renew (5th grade), Mrs. L. Harris (4th grade), Mrs. Hassell (Parent), and Mrs. Goodman (Parent).
Thank you for your tireless planning and for creating an environment where our students can truly shine!
It Takes a Village
The success of STEM Night was truly a community effort. We are incredibly grateful for the support of:
Our Teachers: For volunteering their time to run stations and inspire our learners.
Community Organizations & Businesses: Thank you for bringing real-world STEM applications to our doorstep.
TMS & THS Students: Our middle and high school stations were fantastic! They did a great job as mentors to the younger kids throughout the night.
Our Sponsors: Your generous contributions provided the materials and resources that made these interactive stations possible.
The evening was packed with interactive stations that turned complex concepts into pure fun. Whether it was building pencil towers, testing water density, or navigating drones, the "Great Fun" mentioned by so many attendees was visible on every face.
Events like these remind us that when we give students the tools to create, there is no limit to what they can achieve. We are already looking forward to making next year even bigger!
Did you take photos? We’d love to see them! Post your pics with the hashtag #TISSTEM2026.
