This week’s Staff Spotlight goes to paraprofessional Jenni Lovelady!
1. What inspired you to pursue a career in education?
I truly love kids. I’ve always wanted to help be a small part in helping boost students' confidence and expand their little minds. I’ve always wanted to be a small part in what shapes the future generation.
2. What’s your favorite part of working with students?
I love seeing their excitement and how they light up when they learn something new. Their innocence, little laughs, and conversations where they tell way too much information is always an added bonus.
3. If you weren’t in education, what do you think you’d be doing?
If I was not in education I would probably be doing something with pharmacy. I enjoy learning about different medications and how they can help a person feel better and improve their health.
4. What’s one thing you love most about our school community?
I love the friendships that become more like family, sweet hugs from students and how when you enter the doors you just feel safe and like you’re at home.
5. Is there a particular moment in the school year you look forward to each year?
There are so many events I look forward to during the school year. I love the holiday season, dress up days, and all the many parades that take place at Meadow View.
6. Do you have any hobbies or hidden talents?
I consider shopping as my hobby. I love digging around at a good thrift store.
7. What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I have a twin sister and I am terrified of elevators
8. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I would love to visit New York City and Hawaii.
9. What’s a food you can never say no to?
Chick-fil-A, Hershey Kisses, Mexican food and sweet tea
