Welcome to Creek View Elementary School! We are excited to begin the 2025-2026 School Year. We look forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children reach their full potential.
Please review the following information:
Warrior Day - Friday, August 1st 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Parents and students are welcome to come in and meet the teacher, practice walking to the classroom, and drop off school supplies. Transportation, lunch, and PTO information will be provided. You will be welcomed at the front entrance and directed to your child’s classroom.
Teacher Assignment Notification
Students who are fully registered will receive an email from PowerSchool with teacher assignment information the week of July 28th. We are sending emails to parents rather than mailing postcards. Students who have not completed registration will not have an assigned teacher. Please complete your registration as soon as possible. If you have questions about registration, call (205) 685-6100.
Parent Night Dates/Times:
Pre-K and Kindergarten: Monday, August 4th at 6:00 p.m.
First Grade: Tuesday, August 26th at 6:00 p.m.
Second Grade: Tuesday, August 12th at 6:00 p.m.
Third Grade: Thursday, August 14th at 6:00 p.m.
Medication Drop Off
If your student requires medication while at school, please drop it off to the nurse along with the proper authorization form signed by the physician and a parent/guardian. All forms are found (here) on the District ACS website. Follow the link to Departments, Health Services and Forms. You may drop off medication during Warrior Day on Friday, August 1st 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. If the established drop-off time is not convenient for you, please contact Nurse Alexis to schedule a time for medication drop-off. First Days of School
CVES parents/guardians and guests may not walk their child into the building on the first day of school due to safety and traffic. CVES personnel will be stationed outside and throughout the building to guide students to classrooms.
Lunch visitors will be welcomed starting September 8, 2025 - May 8, 2026.
Free and Reduced Lunch application for 2025-2026 School Year
All families who qualify will need to fill out the free and reduced online application. This also helps ensure we continue to receive federal money to support our schools and ensures your eligibility for programs like P-EBT. Please use the link to apply: My School Apps Lunch Application
Transportation
Please communicate with your child’s teacher about how they will go home on the first day of school. If we are unsure of your child’s transportation, we will contact the parent/guardian to confirm. Parents will complete a green transportation form at Warrior Day. If parents are not able to attend Warrior Day, the form will go home with students on the first day. Parents/Guardians are to complete, sign, and return the following day to confirm permanent dismissal.
Car Rider
Every student will be assigned a car rider number to be used throughout the year for dismissal. They will receive this year’s car tag with a new number during Warrior Day. If you are unable to attend Warrior Day, the car rider tag will be sent home on the first day of school. For pick up on the first day, write your child’s name, grade level, and teacher's name in large print on a paper plate and display it on your windshield. Please do not use last year’s car tag.
Bus Rider
If your child will be riding the bus on the first day of school, please refer to this linked document: Bus Routes for bus numbers and stop times. Bus times will be approximate due to traffic patterns.
