Scholarship award

An educator from Thompson High School has been recognized at the state level for their commitment to educational leadership and professional growth.

Bo Chapman has been selected as a recipient of the 2026 Administrator Scholarship awarded by the School Superintendents of Alabama. The scholarship is designed to support current Alabama educators as they pursue advanced degrees in school administration and instructional leadership.

Through this program, four educators across the state are awarded $1,000 scholarships to assist with graduate-level studies at in-state public colleges and universities. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to developing strong, effective school leaders who will positively impact students, staff, and school communities.

Chapman’s selection highlights both a dedication to the field of education and a desire to grow as a leader within the profession. Alabaster City Schools congratulates Chapman on this achievement and looks forward to the continued contributions that will come from this investment in educational leadership.
