TIS STEM Night

Thompson Intermediate School recently welcomed students and families for an exciting evening of discovery during its annual STEM Night. The event featured hands-on activities and engaging displays designed to spark curiosity and introduce students to the many opportunities within science, technology, engineering, and math.

With over 50 booths set up throughout the school, students and parents had the chance to explore a wide variety of STEM-related fields. Local organizations, educators, and community partners provided interactive experiences that allowed attendees to learn about topics ranging from robotics and engineering to mathematics, firefighting, and scientific exploration, and much more.

Throughout the evening, students were encouraged to ask questions, try new activities, and gain a deeper understanding of how STEM plays a role in everyday life and future career opportunities. The hands-on nature of the event made learning both fun and memorable for families who attended.

The evening proved to be a tremendous success, bringing together students, families, educators, and community partners to celebrate learning and innovation. Events like STEM Night continue to highlight Alabaster City School's commitment to encouraging curiosity and preparing students for the future through hands-on learning experiences.
