ACS - In celebration of Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, Alabaster City Schools is spotlighting the Business and Marketing Academy at Thompson High School, where students are building the skills needed for future success in business and marketing.
The academy introduces students to essential marketing and business concepts, including sales, customer service, research, media, and communications. Through hands-on, real-world learning experiences, students develop critical thinking, collaboration, and professional skills that translate directly to college, career, and workforce readiness.
Graduates of the Business and Marketing Academy are prepared to pursue a wide range of careers, including marketing and advertising, entrepreneurship, social media management, sales, public relations, and real estate. By connecting classroom learning to practical application, the academy equips students with the skills and confidence needed for long-term success beyond graduation.
