  • 4H Chaperone Meeting

    4H Chaperone Meeting There will be a chaperone meeting for 4H camp on Tuesday, April 17th at 6pm. Chaperone duties and expectations, as well as what to expect while at 4H Camp will be discussed. You will need to plan to attend this meeting if you are a chaperone for this field trip. If for any reason you cannot make it to this meeting, please contact Bart Ferguson, Assistant Principal at TIS at Bart.Ferguson@acsboe.org. We appreciate your willingness to help chaperone this fabulous field trip! This meeting will help ensure everyone has a great camp experience.

  • TIS Partcipates in E3 Competition

    The 4th and 5th grade portion of Thompson Intermediate's Science Olympiad team competed at the 4th annual E3 event hosted by the University of Montevallo, AMSTI, and Shelby County Schools. This year 480+ students representing 37 schools from 9 systems engaged in a full day of engineering experiences and hands on activities to strengthen their STEM skills.

    ALABASTER – Thompson Intermediate School fifth graders celebrated their journey through the Super Citizens program and honored the adults in their lives who they view as heroes during a ceremony at Thompson High School on the morning of Friday, Nov. 3.
