Hello parents and students!

Welcome to a  wonderful new school year. I am Ginnessa Tinsley and this will be my 25th year of teaching and my 2nd year at Alabaster City Schools.  I have been married for 18 years to my husband, Cedric Tinsley, who is also an educator in Birmingham City Schools.  I have two daughters, Asha, who will be a 6th grader at TMS this year, and Ana, who will be a 4th grader at TIS.  My hobbies include reading, swimming, and traveling.  I am a 7th grade special education teacher.  I will be teaching Math Lab and Academic Enhancement.  It is my belief that all students can learn and achieve at the highest level.  Together, I am confident that we will all be successful and achieve great things together.  I am so excited about beginning this new year and cannot wait to meet you.  Go Warriors!!
