I am extremely excited to begin my 16th year in education as a Thompson Warrior!  Prior to my position here, I was in the classroom as an English teacher for 13 years.  I taught 8th grade English for 3 years at Prattville Junior High School, and then I moved to Birmingham where I taught 9th and 10th grade English at Hoover High School for 10 years.  

I obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education from the University of South Alabama and recently finished my Ed.S. in Instructional Leadership from Jacksonville State University.
