Each month students will have the opportunity to compete against other members in STEM related events. Many of these events challenge the student to create a device that will accomplish a specific task. These challenges include creating a solar powered car, generate electricity with wind, designing an apparatus for measuring gas production during yeast fermentation, and creating an egg drop device that will be dropped from the top of Vulcan in Birmingham.The winner of each challenge becomes the "Lab Rat" of the month.
