The debate team competes in the Birmingham Area Debate Leadue (BADL). Students compete in five tournaments a year, using public speaking, argumentation, and critical thinking skills.  Our team competes against around 200 other competitors to try to bring the title of debate champions back to Alabaster.

The debate team practices or competes in tournaments most Tuesday afternoons from September to April, with a break in December.
