Mrs. Amanda Rodriguez
I am a native of Alabama. I received my undergraduate degree from Samford University and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for my post-graduate studies. I also have my National Board Certification in English as a New Language. I have been teaching English as a Second Language for over 12 years. This is my first year at Thompson High School, and I look forward to partnering with my students and their parents to help them achieve their goals.
My husband is from Argentina, and we have two handsome boys. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, and we are raising our children to be bilingual as well. We have a small dog named Sunny. I enjoy being outdoors, running, and watching movies with my family.
