I am a lifelong resident of Alabaster and a Thompson graduate of 2008.
After high school, I attended Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama doing student teaching assignments at Prattville High School, Robert E. Lee High School, and my internship at Mckee Middle School. I graduated from Huntingdon College in 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History with Secondary Certification. I am currently enrolled at the University of West Alabama, pursuing my Masters of Education in Instructional Leadership.
I returned to Thompson in the fall of 2012 and have enjoyed teaching the various Histories at all levels. I strive to create an engaging classroom where students are as hands-on with the content as possible, and hope to create lifelong learners as my teachers were able to do for me.
I married my high-school sweetheart in the fall of 2018 and we are expecting the birth of our first child in September of this year!
