While enrolled in graduate school Ms. Campbell was an intern here at Thompson High in the Sculpture Department. Upon graduating with a Master’s in Art and Para Education, Ms. Campbell was asked to join the art department at Thompson High. Yes, it is a great day to be a warrior! In addition to teaching, Ms.Campbell has been an active participant with the University of Montevallo’s Anagama Kiln and various workshops on campus.

My method of instruction is simple. I only teach technique to students; I never tell them what they should create. Art is highly subjective and a figment of one's imagination, which I believe should not be deterred by instruction. I try my best not to deter students from taking up art projects at any level, even if they are only beginners. It is only through trial that a person understands her/his capabilities. The freedom to create is what forms the basis of my instruction in the vast and beautiful field of art.

I have been with Thompson High School since receiving my Masters in 2012. My student teaching was done at Calera Elementary and Thompson High School.
