This nine weeks, we will study the Medieval China, Japan, and Europe. We will also study the early Americas. Pre-AP students will participate in the annual Night at the Museum Project Presentations.
Welcome to World History and Geography!
This year, we will study world history from the earliest civilizations to the Middle Ages. Students will examine how civilizations grew and changed due to the influences of geography, political environments, new technology, and changing social constructs. We will also collect box tops for education (which are transitioning to a digital platform) and soda can tabs. Our school is also a Publix Partner. The Publix Partners and Box Tops proceeds go towards helping the history department fund events like our 8th grade mock Olympic games. The soda can tabs help cover expenses associated with the Ronald McDonald House (https://www.rmhca.org/how-can-you-help/pop-tab-recycling-program/).
