Ms. Kimberly Watson
Ms. Watson has spent the majority of her career in secondary education. She spent 10 years in the classroom as a secondary science teacher in Montgomery Public Schools and Homewood City Schools before moving into administration. Ms. Watson began her administrative career in Jefferson County Schools where she served as Assistant Principal at Pleasant Grove Middle School, Bragg Middle School and Corner Middle School before joining Alabaster City Schools in Spring 2017. She has thoroughly enjoyed her time at TIS and is looking forward to learning from and working with the outstanding staff here.
Ms. Watson grew up in Hoover and graduated from Hoover High School. She received her Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Auburn University. Upon completion of her Bachelor's degree, Ms. Watson attended the University of Montevallo where she earned her Master's degree and Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. After completing graduate school, Ms. Watson received her National Board Certification in Secondary Science.
Ms. Watson currently lives in Bluff Park with her husband, Gabe, and two children. She enjoys reading, running and spending time with family at the lake. During the fall you can find Ms. Watson watching and cheering on the Auburn Tigers! War Eagle!!
