Early Life:

I am Shelby County born and raised. I grew up on a dairy farm in Helena and I had the best childhood. I am the oldest of four children, so I was born to nurture and love children! 

Education:

I graduated from Pelham High School in 2004. I attended the University of Montevallo, where I pursued a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education. I completed my internship at Meadow View and graduated in December of 2009.

Experience:

After my internship, I was hired to teach third grade at Meadow View. After teaching third grade for one year, I moved to Kindergarten, where I have found my home! I have been teaching for 9 years, and I learn new things each and every year! This is the second year that Kristi Johnson and I have co-taught, so if your child has me, then they have her too! We love the model of our classroom and the opportunities our students have for more attention and love from TWO teachers instead of one! 

Personal:

I married my high school sweetheart in 2008 and we have two children. Claire is 4 years old, and Oliver is 1.5 years old. We share the community with you, and live in Alabaster too! We have a beloved dog named Annie, and two silly kittens named Cash and June.
