Mrs. Leah Wilson

My name is Zipporah Leah Wilson and I have been teaching at MVES since 2005.  I received my undregraduate and graduate degrees from Auburn University and my Ed.S and Instructional Leadership certification from Montevallo. I am currently the Lead Special Education Teacher for school and I am also the Third Grade Special Education Inclusion Teacher. I work closely with many of the teachers providing support, inclusion and small group instruction in the resource room.  I was honored to be the MVES Teacher of the Year for the 2012-2013 school year. I love my job because there is never a dull moment.  My students are the highlight of my day and I look forward to watching them grow throughout the year!

I am a huge football fan (WAR EAGLE!) so in my spare time I enjoy attending football games on the plains.  I also enjoy shopping, traveling and relaxing weekends on the beach. I've been married for 12 years and we have an amazing and beautiful 5 year old daughter named Taylor Lacie and we are expecting our second child in January.
