Hello, My name is Carol Spain and I teach Physical Education at Meadow View Elementary School.  I started teaching at here in 2004, and I absolutely love Meadow View!  I grew up in Pelham and graduated from Pelham High School.  I got my Bachelors and Masters degrees from The University of Alabama at Birmingham.  I then earned my EDS (Education Specialist) from The University of Alabama.  I have been married to my husband Jason since 2002, and we have a sweet daughter named Allie.  In my spare time I love working out, teaching Body Pump and cycling at the YMCA, and watching college Football (Roll Tide!).  I love to go to the lake and the beach.  I enjoy helping people of all ages meet their fitness goals.  I hope to be able to travel more with my family in the future.  I would love to go to Hawaii and South Africa (I want to get in a shark cage and see great whites!)
