Mrs. Anita Skelton

I have taught ESL here in the States and in Korea for 18+ years.  Before becoming an ESL teacher,  I taught in the regular classroom, from third grade to college students. I absolutely love teaching, and ESL is a special passion for me. The children who come through my classes enrich my life as they share their home cultures and unique perspectives with me.  My goal is to help them become fully functioning, successful students who will love learning and grow to be contributing members of society.

I have spent most of my life as a pastor's wife and partner in ministry. We have served several churches here in Alabama, and currently serve in Valley Grande, Alabama.  From 1985--2000, we were missionaries in Korea, where Clarke was a church planter and I taught ESL.  We have two grown children, Sara Newell and David Skelton.  They have always made us proud and filled us with joy.   I delight in my grandchildren, Gideon Chad Newell, Emma Kay Skelton, Micah David Skelton, and Issac James Newell.

In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, and watching Korean dramas.
