After graduating from Millry High School, I attended the University of West Alabama from the fall of 2003 until the spring of 2007. I started my teaching career in Demopolis City Schools. During my tenure in Demopolis City Schools, I taught at Demopolis Middle School and Demopolis High School. I served as math department chair at Demopolis Middle School from 2009-2012. In 2009, I was awarded Demopolis Middle School Teacher of the Year. In the fall of 2012, I started teaching in Saraland City Schools. In 2014, I was awarded Saraland City Schools Teacher of the Year and Saraland High School Teacher of the Year. During late spring of 2014, I accepted a job with Alabaster City Schools. This will be starting my 4th year with Alabaster City Schools. I have enjoyed being a part of such a wonderful community. It is a blessing to have the opportunity to work with some awesome students and incredible math teachers in Alabaster City Schools. I am looking forward to another great school year. As always, it is a great day to be a WARRIOR!
